About Kerry

Kerry Macdermott, IRRV President: United Kingdom; Kerry was the Institute's Senior Vice President 2009/10 and Chair of Law, Research and Education Committee. Kerry has been an IRRV Council member since 2000 and during that time has represented the Institute at many professional meetings and delivered papers at all the majot council conferences. In addition, he has provided a number of papers at a variety of Institute seminars and contribute regularly to the faculty magazine. Kerry is an active member of both the South Wales and West Wales Sub Branches. He is Vice Chair of the Institute’s Local Taxation Faculty, one of the nominated assessors for the Revenues Team of the Year Award and a number of the Benefits committee of enquiry that successfully lobbied Ministers to consider fundamental changes to the housing and council tax benefit schemes. Kerry is a regular tutor at the student revision courses in Keele and Dudley.
